The I.A.P.C. “PINDOS” was founded in 1958, is the largest Cooperative in Greek Poultry and has a steady upward trend in the Greek and international market. It has over 450 members – chicken producers and over 800 employees working in modern, fully controlled facilities that operate with new generation technologies. The operation of the company is ensured with quality certificates ISO 22000 and AGROCERT (100% Plant Nutrition). For its operation, the Cooperative has:
- Poultry farms with a breeding capacity of 400,000 birds and poultry farms with a fattening capacity of approximately 6,000,000 poultry per breeding.
- Incubator with a hatching capacity of over 35 million chicks per year.
- Feed production plant with a capacity of more than 120,000 tn per year.
- Industrial unit - poultry slaughterhouse
- Production and storage unit of frozen products
- Poultry waste treatment plant and organo – humic fertilizer production
At the same time, the Cooperative has state-of-the-art chemical and microbiological laboratories, where microbiological and chemical routine tests are performed, while employing a number of scientists (chemists, veterinarians, agronomists, food technologists) to monitor daily production conditions and all factors affecting its products.
